The Levite and his concubine have arrived at Gibeah, the old man has taken them in for the night, the “sons of Belial” demanded that Levite be given to them so that they might rape him, but the old man offers up his daughter and the concubine instead. The events that follow connect us to the past events of of Sodom, but we examine how these types of actions continue within the church today.
