The Levite’s gruesome summons have worked. The nation has gathered as “one man” to demand justice for the violence agains the Levite and his concubine. As the nation prepares to engage in what they consider to be a “holy war” they consult God, but they ask all the wrong questions resulting in terrible loss of lives on both sides and almost destroying an entire tribe. In effort to save Benjamin, they develop a new plan wherein 600 women will be raped in a nationally organized sex crime that will scar the nation for generations.
