Navel of the Earth and Women In Leadership - Faith and Other Oddities Episode 69

Still wrapping up some random weirdness from Judges, and this is definitely an oddity. We discuss the connection of the navel of the earth with the cosmic mountain and cosmic trees. As explore this concept we discover how the navel is a metaphor for the connection between heaven and earth, and how the earth is sustained through this connection. Then we jump to the issue of women in leadership, and we take apart the passages used to deny women roles in leadership. And then we contrast this with other passages that appear to support women in leadership.
