New Page for Teen Seers

I've added a page here specifically for teen seers and their friends, and thrown it in the top menu bar.

Parents and others will find useful links there as well. It's mainly a list of posts discussing testimonies from teen seers I've met.And on that page, I release a secret... shhhh. I can't help it. I love working with teens, and will open my heart to them more so than adults.

Teens Have Access to God

I'm a volunteer youth pastor. I believe that teens have access to God every bit as much as adults. Not Jesus Jr. or Holy Spirit Lite. They meet Jesus.  All of him. And they get the Holy Spirit. And they really go for it, when they're trained appropriately. The caption in the picture says "teens prophesying to each other." And that's exactly what they're attempting there. To prophesy. Why? Because the Holy Spirit has been poured out on all flesh. All.An ancient prophet Joel declared, and was quoted by the Apostle Peter:

"And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and daughters shall prophesy..."[ref]Joel 2:28, Acts 2:17 ,[/ref]

Sons and daughters. Your kids.

"Pursue love and earnestly desire the spiritual gifts. Especially that you prophesy."[ref] Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 14:1[/ref]

So we all go for it. Guys and gals.  We learn about Jesus and we pray for each other and we prophesy, or at least we try.For many of us, it's hard to set aside our iPods and video games and Tumblr and Instagram and just daily drama, and we all believe lies about ourselves... lies we've been told by family, or the culture, or our friends, or even teachers, or... by spirits. And so we question our identity and our self-worth.But then we read about what God says about us when by faith we are in Christ Jesus... that we are sons and daughters of God, and he's not mad at us... that he loves us and wants good things for us.And did you know Jesus had a pretty tough life also? He knows a thing or two about being bullied, being ridiculed, being accused, of being an outcast... and that was before he grew up. Jesus relates to your pain and your struggles. I talk a little about that in the Demonic Punch article post. And then we quiet our mind in a position of worship, and we listen, and we sometimes can actually hear what God's heart is for someone else, and then tell them.Oh sure, sometimes we don't hear correctly or at all. But often - more often than you'd think - the kids hear from God, release what they hear, and collectively, they're built up, strengthened and can go on with our week, encouraged.  Most kids never hear one positive thing about them ever in a week... so we go for it because at church, they should hear something life-giving.Because what God has to say to us is... priceless. We go after this supernatural prophecy thing through our supernatural worldview, because Christianity is a supernatural religion. If this is new to you, it's time to meet Jesus, and study the Worldview articles.
