One of the most graphic and disturbing stories of the Bible, in this episode we examine the marriage of the Levite and his concubine and how even the marriage exemplifies the lack of care being shown to the women of Israel at this time. We discuss the bizarre behavior of her father, and how we need to the previous story of Micah and the Levite to explain this man who continues to puzzle scholars.
